Steakfry at Lost Trail Powder Mountain Ski Area, Saturday, February 21
The Steakfry is Lost Trail’s longest running annual event. It has been a tradition for 28 years and is a fundraiser for the ski patrol. The steakfry boasts a number of events throughout the day, capped off by the torchlight parade, which is performed by the ski patrol, and is one of Lost Trail’s most talked about traditions. In addition to the good eats – steaks, burgers and more – skiers and boarders can check out the slopestyle competition, the raffle and the live music. This is a great time for the whole family! Skiesta, Lost Trail Powder Mountain Ski Area, Saturday, April 4Skiesta is an annual event that Lost Trail has hosted for the last 13 years. This event consists of competitions throughout the day, which also includes the highly entertaining pond skim. A barbeque and live music is just enough to top off a great day at the mountain. This scenic highway is also part of the Nez Perce Trail; it goes all the way from Canada to Mexico, and it is part of the TransAmerica Bicycle Path. The Mountain Spirit Inn is within close proximity to the Continental Divide Hiking Trail (CDT) and Lost Trail Powder Mountain Ski Area. This is beautiful country!
